last day of attachment..

So fast, it’s already 25 Apr, my final day as a NYP intern at AWWA family service centre. Sad to say i had to leave this place after 11 weeks, during which i thoroughly enjoyed myself. I LOVED THAT PLACE!!! The fun time with my colleagues, the children and the youths, the lunches we had together, all the jokes and laughter. Everyone was quite close to each other, almost like a big family. So much so that tears almost flowed down my eyes as i said bye to everyone and left the place today. But i’m coming back tomorrow to help out. Who knows? Maybe i’ll come back more often. Loved it!! 😀

mad man on the loose

on thursday, i was walking back to work after lunch when i was stopped by this man who was very unkempt and carrying two bags. he asked me where’s the coffeeshop but in the end go to 7-11. say singapore no police. wth.. say he worked in ministry of community development. say his godfather is our MM. then outside 7-11, he shout ‘lee kuan yew!!!’ i was like trying not to laugh lah.. so quickly escaped while he’s distracted. lol..

can’t believe i…

cooked french toast in the morning during work. lol.. that helped to spend some 2 hours. hehehe.. lunch was chicken rice which took like ages to prepare and a huge cup of bandung. wooooo…. i went to clarke quay to eat subway. haha…. long time havent eat le and the sandwich artists there so much better looking, so don’t really mind paying $7.20 for a meal. lol.. :p take bus go back home but the bus got kfc advertisements all over it. argh…. dozed off after a while while listening to music. tired sia… reached home then after coming out from the shower, got one pretty girl standing at the door (not the washroom door lah) trying to sell ice cream but my mum said ‘no’. argh… naohia…

3 and a half weeks to go!!!!

hahaha.. got A for ict. lol… sw can get C also surprising. the rest (efma, law, finance) all B+ except marketing management which i got B. hahaha…. 5 more weeks to go before ipp’s over.. yeah… wanna play mahjong also difficult. i think i’m too free already. lol..

tonight: man utd v liverpool, chelsea v arsenal.   :p

why is it so difficult to have a meal together??

wow.. so fast?

4 weeks of ipp already gone. great.. 7 weeks left. argh.. hahahaha.. anyway, with man utd knocked out of the fa cup by portsmouth (pity i dint watch the match but i caught the highlights), it capped a nice week for me. arsenal winning 2-0 at milan to qualify the champions league quarter finals was fantastic. played daidee the whole night and then bowling the next day during the youth camp which i was part of the organising team. as i typed this, barnsley just took a 1-0 lead against chelsea.. goal!!!!!!!! wonder what will happen next week? hehehe…..

9 weeks to go..

till the end of ipp. wahaha.. 2 weeks have passed since i went on attachment at awwa family service centre. overall experience there not bad. haaa.. on thursday, met up with lincoln, cc and rebec go bugis eat. hehehe.. then walk walk. the next day, went to amk hub and orchard to ‘shop’ with hl, lincoln and cc. lol.. think we did more eating than buying things. hahaha.. on saturday night, cc, hl and me went to lincoln’s house to play mahjong (my first time playing mahjong lol) haha.. can’t say i won a lot but felt that actually not that hard to play after all. lol.. came back at 8.30am. slept all the way till 3 plus then eat lunch. then i zzzz again till 8.30pm for dinner. lol..

it’s finally over. so…..

yeah!! no more exams!! all the papers are not badly done i feel. haha.. can pass all. yeah.. so after SW paper today, linc, cc, hl and me slacked around at lionel’s office while waiting for rebec. haha.. got my ipp briefing today. waaaa.. go awwa but to their family service centre to help the youths. hmm.. what’s it got to do with SW? lol..

so after that the 5 of us went to marina square.. so we go eat carl’s jr. waa.. more ex than subway. haha.. but damn full after that. *burp*. hl and rebec went around looking for cny clothes while us guys just slack around. so at ard 5, met up and linc and cc went back nyp while me and hl went vivocity (wi-wo-ci-ty) while i have no idea where rebec went. LOL.

at vivocity, wandered around the entire place. waaa… feet sore after that. lol.. in the end, she bought only one top. hahahas.. lots of choices there but.. hehehe… went into vivomart to buy drinks and somehow got a ‘lucky number’ 2906. (hl got 8040) inside a hong bao from this god of fortune who said ‘do u want a lucky number?’ in english.. walao eh.. speak english sia.. wanted to buy 4D but dunno where to do so then james pops out. LOL.. chatted with him then he brought us to Cheers to place our bets. lol.. bad influence in a way?? hahaha.. hopefully can get something out of it, based on the fact that if god of fortune can speak english then i also can strike 4D mah.. wahaha…

wasted or what?

today went to study.. supposed to meet linc and rebec at city hall at 11.30 am. i done great to reach on time. but no one there. linc say he just woke up and rebec coming later. wth? i thought then i went to shop for pants and jeans and bought one each.. not bad at all. waited and waited. finally linc came.. havent thought of wad to eat so we walked around marina square. rebec called and i tink she wants to eat kfc lah.. then we had kfc in the end.. | hahas.. joke of the day (not true at all): linc likes little girls. offers one of them one sweet to unbutton one button of her dress. but dress got TEN buttons but linc only got NINE sweets. | lol. ok erm.. i dint study. no mood. amanda also sian sian de.. only mac and linc and rebec got studied. wow.. until ard 7 i went over to subway to makan. super shiok. go back mcdonald’s find them. then again we went subway for dinner.. i ate the cookies i got earlier.. lol.. while they had a foot long sandwich. (got give hongbao packets) lol. slack for a long time sia.. disturb CC by calling him and talking some crap (from MOS say until sheng siong show LOL) with MY phone which eventually went flat. LOL..
